Manager of operation strategy for municipal water and wastewater treatment plants - AGBAR (Groupe Veolia)
Philippe started his career at Aguas de Barcelona in 1989 as an industrial engineer, responsible for asset management at the Besós wastewater treatment plant (Barcelona). After holding the position of O&M director in several companies of the AGBAR group, he is currently responsible for the plant operation strategy for Spain & LATAM (around 1.000 sites). In his different roles, he has directed the operations of water and wastewater treatment facilities operated by the AGBAR group , promoting circular economy projects especially for water reuse, energy efficiency and sludge treatment and disposal, providing technical and commercial support, and coordinating training and R&D of the group. He is also an active member of various national and international sectoral associations such as ASERSA (Spanish Association for Sustainable Water Reuse), AEAS (Spanish Water and Sanitation Association), AEDyR (Spanish Desalination and Reuse Association) and IWA (International Water Association).
